Toplyne Secures $15 Million in Series A led by Sequoia and Tiger Global


SaaS startup Toplyne has bagged USD 15 Million of funding in a Series A round led by Sequoia Capital India and Tiger Global.  The round also witnessed participation from existing investors, including Together Fund, Sequoia India’s Surge, and angel investors from Canva, Zoominfo, and Vercel.

The fresh funds will mainly be utilised to expand the business and scale product, design, data science, engineering, teams.  Topline was founded in June 2021 by Rishen Kapoor, Rohit Khanna, and Ruchin Kulkarni, and their main offering includes helping the sales team at product-led growth companies to convert their free users into paid ones. The startup counts Canva, InVideo, BrowserStack, Gather. Town, Grafana as its clients. Currently, it has a headcount of 30 and claims to have managed more than 25 Mn user data.

Topylne aims to solve all monetisation problems for product-led growth businesses. The startup’s plug-and-play product integrates with existing CRMs (Salesforce. Hubspot), product engagement platforms (Braze), and product analytics infrastructures (Amplitude, Segment) within minutes.

The SaaS startup in a statement said it soon would launch a self-serve freemium product in the next quarter. In November last year, the company had reportedly bagged USD 2.5 Million in a seed funding round from Together Fund and Sequoia Capital’s Surge and angel investors from Zoominfo, Canva, and Freshworks.
