Tech startup PreSkale raises $500K in its Pre-Seed funding round led by BoldCap

Platform for Pre-Sales Intelligence PreSkale has secured $500,000 in a pre-seed investment round headed by BoldCap and joined by PointOne Capital. Other investors in this round were Ajith Sowndararajan, Sathya Nellore Sampath, Vaidhyanathan, Jayagopal, and Archana Priyadarshini. Over the next 12 months, the business intends to utilise the cash to increase its client base by 20x and staff size by 3x, as well as engage in go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns to enhance reach and awareness.
Based in California and Chennai, Ajay Jay and Prashanth Ganesh launched PreSkale in 2021 to simplify all account-related tasks, empower data-driven decision making, and enhance revenue generation. Ajay Jay, the co-founder and CEO of PreSkale said that PreSkale is being developed to improve PreSales processes for PreSales Engineers and companies. PreSkale handles it all, from managing day-to-day account assignments, notes, and meetings to providing master-playbooks rich with useful insights to assist PreSales engineers develop better product experiences and drive product adoption.

According to McKinsey, the presales engine may enhance conversion rates by five points, income by 6-13 percent, and the speed with which prospects move through the sales process by 10-20 percent. Recognizing the shift in customer thinking and the importance of pre-sales in the go-to-market ecosystem, G2 has announced the addition of pre-sales as a new category in April 2022.
Sathya Nellore Sampat, the General Partner at BoldCap said that in most firms, pre-sales is a relatively big team that works with sales, product, and engineering departments. They help sales teams market more effectively and provide customer knowledge and product needs to product and engineering teams. They are an essential, yet vastly neglected team, and that is what grabbed the company’s interest.
