Tech-enabled construction aggregator Hocomoco Raises $1 Million Funding, Rebrands To Wehouse


Hocomoco – a Hyderabad-based tech-powered construction aggregator founded by Sripad Nandiraj in 2017 has rebranded to Wehouse and raised $1Million through Anthill Ventures and a group of angel investors in Pre-series Round A.

The funds will be used to update the technological infrastructure and recruit key personnel as the company expands across India. Wehouse is a digital aggregator platform that helps clients build their ideal houses by facilitating end-to-end building services. The company streamlines the development process by integrating all parties engaged in the process under one roof.

 It offers a full range of services, including legal rights, architectural structural design, construction execution, and interiors and monitoring. It also provides e-monitoring, which allows clients to track job progress and material usage on-site via images, videos, and notifications. As a result, a monitoring project site is implemented to avoid theft and damage during the duration of the project.

Wehouse intends to acquire a fair portion of this burgeoning business, which is predicted to increase from $250 billion in 2022 to $530 billion in 2027, with growth at a cagr of 7.8%. Wehouse recently celebrated a huge business milestone by accomplishing 1 million sq. ft of built-up area. In the next few months, they expect to reach INR 100 crore in booked revenue.
