Tata Digital Invests $75 Million In Curefit


Curefit India’s leading health and fitness app, enters into a partnership with Tata Digital. Curefit’s founder and executive – in – chief Mukesh Bansal joins Tata Digital as a president and executive, while holding onto his position in his brain child, Cure Fit. This has been another milestone in Tata Digital’s acquisitions as they continue to expand their e – commerce business. Tata Digital in an official statement said that India’s fitness and wellness market is a sleeping giant enhancing annually at present 20 per cent and will see a growth of USD 12 billion in another four to five years.

Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran explained the reason for choosing Curefit saying that the company matches with their overall health care proposition with the aim of making fitness an integral part of consumer’s life. Bansal said that joining Tata Digital is quite exciting for him and his team members, and it would increase their appeal to more consumers and help them reach number one position when it comes to health and well being,  and they are ready to take this partnership to the next level.
