Sydney startup raises $1.9 million for self- service property management tech


Self service property management platform RentBetter has obtained $ 1.9 million in funding, as more Aussies look to take control of their investments.

Founded about five years ago by Jeremy Goldschmidt, RentBetter is pointed to offer private landlords access to the same tool and services accessible to the real estate professionals.

It enables them to manage everything from ads, inquires and lease agreements to condition reports, payments and receipts in one place, without having to outlay for a property manager. And it seems there is demand for such things.

The start up is now seeing its subscriber base increase by about 250%, years on year.

But people are also, “ watching their side pocket.” And looking for numerous ways to boost them save money.

People with investments properties want to be getting the best out of their assets, without necessarily increasing the admin burden.
