Both lawyers by education, their lives took a transformative turn when they encountered Leve and Kuan, two Labrador puppies, during their college days at Symbiosis Law School. Little did they know, this encounter would pave the way for a revolutionary venture in the pet care landscape.

“We were back in college when Symbiosis Pune sent puppies to all its off campuses. We were studying in Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA. 2 Labrador puppies, Leve and Kuan came to our campus. I have been a dog lover and a dog parent for as long as I can remember. But Animesh was not because he was never really introduced to pet parenting at home,” Srishti recalls.

Unleashing the Healing Power of Pets

Fuelled by their newfound passion for pet therapy, Srishti and Animesh set out to introduce the concept of Animal Assisted Activity/Therapy (AAA/AAT) in India. However, their path was far from smooth. Faced with skepticism and challenges, they persisted, and Fur Ball Story was born. With unwavering determination, they expanded their offerings to address a myriad of pet-parenting concerns.

The startup’s portfolio grew to encompass a diverse range of services, including Dog Boarding, Pet Therapy, Dog Café, Dog Training, Pet Taxi, Dog Walking, and Ayurvedic Medicines for dogs. “We set out to address three major issues – lack of regulated pet services, lack of regulated and government-approved products for the pets, and obsolete ways of doing business in the pet industry,” Srishti explains.

Central to Fur Ball Story‘s mission is its commitment to natural healing for animals. In a world dominated by allopathic medicines, the startup embraced Ayurveda, tapping into the power of plants and herbs to formulate a line of holistic medicines. Srishti shares, “Our approach is to use the power of plants to bring back the concept of natural healing in animals. We are using a wide range of plants and herbs to formulate the best of medicines that will help not in just physical, but mental healing of animals.”
