Loadmee was founded by Saurabh Mantri in 2016. Loadmee focuses on its driver quality by providing them training of 6 hours per quarter in order to enhance their field performance, the way to deal with the clients, following rules and regulations, and valueing customer services. Saurabh Mantri, did his hotel management course from Indore and gave his service in ITC grand, Mumbai. When he left his job and came back to his hometown Indore, he started searching for jobs. He felt empty as he had nothing to do. So he joined his family business that is transportation and then he came up with the idea of “Loadmee”.
“Finding vehicles were the real problem as at that time Ola, Uber were emerging in the city so I thought of mini trucks and from there the idea of loadmee came up“, said Saurabh Mantri, Founder of Loadmee in an exclusive interview with Startup Story.
In 2015,he thought of Loadmee but he wasn’t having much knowledge about technology, so he represented his idea to his school friend Abdeali Siyawala, who was a tech guy and then they together launched Loadmee in 2016. When they started Loadmee, they had 10-15 bookings in a month but currently they have about 2000+ bookings.
Around 25000 deliveries are done in Indore and are now associated with many big branches. They also faced many challenges as there are many local competitors, but the prior challenge was getting drivers on board as the drivers were insecure about the plan. So they taught them and gave them a proper training in order to enhance their field-performance, the way to deal with the clients, following rules and regulations, and understanding technology. They also help their drivers in personal finiancial plannings.
Somehow, the pandemic groomed their business as there were huge requirements for delivery partners whether it was in pharma, nagar nigam or even home delivery. They tied up with them. They even tied up with Walamart, Flipkart, Dmart, Udaan, Shopkirana and Many more. They are a team of 20 people along with 2 founders and each one of them works immensely so as to match customer’s trust.
