Abhinav Dubbey said engaging in an elaborate interview with Startup story that he and Co-founder Prakash Bajantri stumbled upon the idea of helping small businesses as they need value to be added to them, more than ever businesses needed to go digital during the pandemic and is a must for India to grow. They wanted to provide a solution and at the same time pursue the idea of the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and fulfilling the dream of making India digital is the ultimate goal of the duo.
Introduction To MBG Card And Growth
Introducing his service the MBG Card, Abhinav told Startup story that a lot of cities that aren’t top tier remain untouched from by the digital world and scope of growth. MBG Card is a combination of Dynamic website, Automate Marketing Tool, APP and a lot more. Not every small business owner in these Tier 2 and Tier 3 can use a website due to various reasons but with their service, The MBG Card which stands for My Business Growth card, they help these businesses to generate more revenue, maintain a reputation online while maintaining a stable relationship with their customers and inbuilt CRM. They designed the MBG Card keeping in mind the needs of these small businesses including 250+ categories to it from Laundromats, street vendors, freelancer to hotels the card is flexible to everyone’s needs. Going digital has become a necessity to keep up with the pace of the developing world. The pandemic has brought a clearer vision of the same for everyone as well and the increased needs of service like the MBG Card.
The MBG Card has come a far way having started and launched in July 2020 they have established a firm presence in Jabalpur and Pune, they are slowly paving similar response and presence in Haridwar and Jammu and Kashmir but all in all they have 100+ cities covered under them. A good word of mouth has helped them come a long way already.

The MBG Card said Abhinav is unlike the usual business card that isn’t discard able and allows more information to be stored at the same time confirms your presence digitally, makes you easily traceable through google search or other such aggregators. The plans designed by MBG Card are cost-effective, easy to use, provide customized solutions or service as per the need and demand of the business.

Speaking more about the importance of a website, he added, that getting a website is not easy and ideally it costs a fixed design and is complex to use. However, as a part of their service they also provide fully developed websites with a flexibility to change the theme for the same as per business category.
Furthermore, Abhinav told more about the services that they provide at MBG Card and said that since they serve small businesses they are planning to provide subscriptions on EMI. With 6 crores of listed small businesses that grow on an 18% year on basis and the government’s constant effort to help them, the upcoming time will see a rise in these businesses. He then said that their beginner plan starts at Rs 2500, further they also have the gold and the premium category as per the need of the respective business.
Future Plans For MBG Card
When asked about raising funding by Startup story Abhinav replied saying that currently they were bootstrapped and are in early talks with certain investors that are interested. As for personal growth of the company they are definitely trying to understand the product market and will exponentially scale businesses which will be followed in three stages being providing digital presence to platforms, automating the digital marketing which will improve the customer and business owner’s relationship followed by using technology to improve ranking on different aggregators. At MBG Card they are aiming to provide a deeper solution, category wise with dynamic pricing. MBG Card is looking to tread ahead with steadily growing and increasing their business.
Reviews And Feedback
When asked by Startup story about the kind of reviews and feedback received by MBGCard, Abhinav said that they had been getting excellent reviews as their service had helped improve businesses significantly. Citing an example he said, a street vendor in Pune, improved the number of customers visiting him greatly just because of his digital presence, which in turn helped generate a lot of revenue. Additionally, Abhinav also added there are a number of such small businesses who provide great services and need to be recognized Further, they also provide an elaborate session on how to use the card and avail the best out of it, they provide sessions helping business owners understand how to tack and keep a tab on the number of people visiting them online and keep which product is being looked into.
Team At MBG Card And Setbacks Faced
“Startup journey is a roller coaster ride accompanied by changes and challenges every day, but anything static cannot grow being dynamic is important for progress and constant growth,” Abhinav Dubbey, Co-Founder, MBG Card said when asked about the kind of setbacks he and his team had faced while on the journey. He told us that initially people were quite reluctant to get a digital card as they did not completely understand the concept. However, once they started to use it almost all of their subscribers renewed their cards. Another obstacle that came in the way for MBG Card was the world being hit by a pandemic, followed by the lockdown and shutting down of businesses. So, even if people wanted to try their service there was no way to avail it for the time being. In the later stages it turned out to help businesses and they began to understand the importance of establishing a business presence for them.
Telling about the team at MBG Card Abhinav told Startup story that he managed the business development while Prakash who is also the Co-founder at MBG Card looked into the tech department. All in all they are a team of 15 but will soon be adding more members to the team.
