State Bank Of India Invests In Bangalore Based Startup Cashfree

Cashfree India’s fintech startup, a digital payment firm founded in 2015, receives an undisclosed amount from SBI – State Bank of India.It is given, that India’s current covid situation has seen an unprecedented growth in the cashless and digital payment sectors, and thus India’s leading bank corroborates in this sector. Cashfree is already in partnership with leading e-commerce businesses like Zomato, Nykaa, Acko, Delhivery for vendor payments.
Akash Sinha, executive and co-founder at Cashfree said,” We are excited with this partnership with the country’s trusted and leading lender SBI”. He also added that this investment aligns perfectly with their growth strategy. To them, customer satisfaction and product innovation is of utmost importance and they hope to make a wholesome growth with SBI as an investment partner. Apart from India, Cashfree is used in other countries like USA, Canada and UAE and they only hope to grow more and make their international presence more telling.
