SaaS startup, Tecxprt acquired by Ninjacart

Ninjacart, a Fresh produce supply chain company acquired a software as a service (SaaS)-based communication platform, Tecxprt for an undisclosed sum.
Ninjacart will obtain direct access as a part of the acquisition in order to Tecxprt’s rich technology suite, which within the organisation’s ecosystem will accelerate the digitisation. Across the food supply chain, from farmers, resellers, retailers, consumers their social network software will facilitate real-time communication to the supply chain participants.
Tecxprt, led by Navin Murugan, automates complex business processes, undertaking multiple tasks in order to ensure business operations are streamlined and efficient. The users are allowed to lead, manage and track the progress of their organization and its employees from one place.

In order to generate better revenues Ninjacart works closely with the farmers and claims to have helped over 1,00,000 farmers across 150 villages. The firm had recently launched an Agri Seed Fund worth $25 million to support emerging and new-age startups in the agriculture sector, backed by the likes of Walmart and Flipkart.
About $13.3 million worth ESOP buyback in January this year has also been facilitated by the company. Around $815 million was valued by Ninjacart during its Series D round in December last year.
