MET City is an upcoming smart city located close to Gurugram; here is all you need to know about it

According to a statement released by the company controlled by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, “Model Economic Township Limited (MET City), a fully owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), is creating a world class Greenfield Smart City near Gurugram, Haryana.”
One of the four Japanese firms that are going to be located in a smart city that is being created by an affiliate of Reliance Industries Ltd near Gurugram has started construction on a medical devices unit. The construction of the medical devices unit was the ground-breaking event.
Within its integrated industrial township, MET City, which is designated as a Japan Industrial Township (JIT), is home to four of Japan’s most successful businesses.
It added, “Recently, Nihon Kohden, one of the four Japanese businesses and a producer of medical equipment, performed a ground-breaking ceremony on their plot at MET City.” MET City is an abbreviation for the Metropolitan Enterprise and Technology Center. “This facility of Nihon Kohden will be their biggest manufacturing facility in India,” and “it will further boost the position of MET City as a leading site for setting up firms in Haryana and North India.” “This facility of Nihon Kohden will be located in MET City.”
MET City is also home to Japanese corporations such as Panasonic and Denso, in addition to T-Suzuki.
On the occasion of this ground-breaking event, S V Goyal, CEO of MET City, said that “With more than 400 industrial clients, a walk-to-work concept, and world-class infrastructure, MET City today is one of the fastest developing greenfield smart cities in North India.”

According to statements made by Vaibhav Mittal, Vice President and Head of Business Development for MET City, efforts will be made to attract an increasing number of Japanese businesses to the location in order to turn it into one of the most sought-after business cities in the region of North India.
According to Kentaro Kusano, Managing Director of Nihon Kohden India Pvt Ltd, the new hematology analyzer reagent factory that will be built on 16,135 square meters of land will be almost four times larger than the company’s current factory in Gujarat. The new factory will have 8,900 square meters of floor space.

MET City (METL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance, is in the process of creating a world-class greenfield smart city on over 8,000 acres of land in Jhajjar, which is located in the state of Haryana and is close to the city of Gurugram.
The project’s trunk infrastructure, which included a power infrastructure with a 220 KV substation created by MET City, a water treatment plant, a water distribution network, a broad road network, and substantial landscaping, has already been finished.
