MET City is an upcoming smart city located close to Gurugram; here is all you need to know about it


According to a statement released by the company controlled by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, “Model Economic Township Limited (MET City), a fully owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), is creating a world class Greenfield Smart City near Gurugram, Haryana.”

According to Kentaro Kusano, Managing Director of Nihon Kohden India Pvt Ltd, the new hematology analyzer reagent factory that will be built on 16,135 square meters of land will be almost four times larger than the company’s current factory in Gujarat. The new factory will have 8,900 square meters of floor space.

MET City (METL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance, is in the process of creating a world-class greenfield smart city on over 8,000 acres of land in Jhajjar, which is located in the state of Haryana and is close to the city of Gurugram.

The project’s trunk infrastructure, which included a power infrastructure with a 220 KV substation created by MET City, a water treatment plant, a water distribution network, a broad road network, and substantial landscaping, has already been finished.
