Kiranatech platform 1K Kirana Bazaar raised $7 million in Series A round

1K Kirana Bazaar is a consumer-focused retail brand that hep neighborhood Kirana stores owners in smaller towns compete with both online and offline retail. It provides an app that allows consumers to find local products in the nearby Kirana stores. It partners with mid-size stores in tier 2 and 3 towns to offer full-stack solutions and improve its sourcing efficiency.
Kirana Bazaar is a Gurugram based startup founded by Abhishek Halder, Anilesh Yadav, Kumar Sangeetesh and Sachin Sharma in 2018.
The company majorly competes with PepperTap, Shoopy , Super K and Gully Network. Out of these, PepperTap is the only other player to have done well with omnichannel capabilities, with more than 300 stores in their chain across multiple cities.
This Kiranatech platform is in its advanced stage to raise a new round from existing and new investors. The startup had raised $7 million in Series A round co-led by Info Alpha Wave (Falcon Edge) and Edge Ventures.
