J&T Express launches largest logistics hub in southern China

J&T Express has inaugurated its largest logistics hub in southern China, marking a major milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy. The new facility, known as the J&T Greater Bay Area Digital Supply Chain Industrial Park, spans 65 acres (around 392 mu) and features over 320,000 square meters of cutting-edge automated and intelligent management systems.
Designed to process over 15 million parcels daily, the hub employs advanced automation technologies covering approximately 90% of operations, significantly enhancing sorting efficiency and throughput. The facility’s innovative double-layer matrix and automated cross-band sorting system increase space utilization and sorting efficiency per unit area by 87%, while intelligent real-time data processing enables dynamic switching of sorting strategies to boost efficiency by 30%.
Located strategically in the Greater Bay Area, the logistics hub is poised to support peak season surges such as the “Double 11” shopping festival, providing crucial logistics infrastructure to ease pressure on e-commerce supply chains in southern China. This enables faster, more reliable deliveries for merchants and consumers, improving customer satisfaction and reinforcing J&T Express’s competitive leadership.
The launch underlines J&T Express’s commitment to building smart, technology-driven logistics ecosystems to meet evolving market demands. The company integrates intelligent infrastructure with a digital logistics network, driving operational efficiency and sustainable growth. It operates across 13 countries with a global network and a daily processing volume exceeding 80 million parcels.
