Jobizo, a healthcare workforce aggregator platform that provides on-demand/hyperlocal employment options, has raised $500K in a seed round. Aroa Venture led the round, which included participation from VeritasX and other angel investors. The company intends to use the capital to drive development into additional Indian cities, as well as employment and marketing. In the following 4 to 6 months, the healthcare platform plans to secure another round of money.
According to the statement, Jobizo was founded in 2021 by Naveen Trehan and Avishek Agarwal, with the goal of closing the skills gap of 3 million healthcare professionals in India by providing a one-stop solution for all healthcare staffing needs in the country. It is powered by AI (artificial intelligence) and ML (machine learning). By delivering a digital workforce augmentation platform, the company hopes to support the healthcare industry. Currently, conventional recruiting techniques are predominantly used in the healthcare recruitment industry, resulting in a significant labour shortage.
Naveen Trehan, Jobizo’s Co-Founder and Chairman said that the company would use these funds to construct the necessary infrastructure to meet the expanding needs of the healthcare business and is also attempting to establish a friendly atmosphere for the workforce that will aid in efficiently closing the skill gap in the healthcare business.

Avishek Agarwal, the co-founder and CEO of Jobizo said that the country is experiencing a severe lack of healthcare experts, and the platform is helping to close the gap. Jobizo plans to use the funds to expand its services to additional Indian cities. The money will also be used for new hiring and marketing methods for the company. Through its site, the funds will also be used to deliver self-learning-based training programmes for the workforce.
Gaurav Gulati, the managing partner of Aroa Venture Partners stated that Gig workers give organisations a lot of flexibility in terms of scaling and meeting demand. And with India’s growing need for healthcare experts and a general shortage of skilled healthcare personnel. Innovative solutions like Jobizo are critical in bridging the gap. A huge number of healthcare professionals become inactive owing to family and life stage responsibilities.
