Jack Dorsey building open bitcoin mining system amid climate threats

Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has proclaimed he is building an open and fully decentralised Bitcoin mining system, at a time when crypto mining has erected serious energy consumption and mega e-waste generation concerns.

In his, who renamed his financial services company square to block in December last year,said : We’re officially building up an open bitcoin mining system.”

We want to make mining more assorted and operative in every way, from buying, to set up, to maintenance, to mining goes far beyond creating new bitcoin.

We see it as need for long term in future.

The e-waste problem will probably grow further if the price of bitcoins continues to rise.
