Zoop collaborates with Haptik to enable WhatsApp food delivery for train passengers

Jio Haptik Technologies Limited (Haptik), a WhatsApp chatbot solution provider, has teamed with Zoop, an IRCTC partner for food delivery on trains, to provide railway passengers with smooth food ordering and delivery on train travels.

The new self-service food delivery technology based on WhatsApp allows passengers to make food orders and have them delivered directly to their seats, with real-time order tracking, feedback, and assistance. Travelers can order food at chosen eateries during scheduled train stops using their PNR numbers.

Swapan Rajdev, co-founder and CTO of Haptik, stated, “WhatsApp is by far the most popular messaging programme, and Haptik is at the cutting edge of WhatsApp commerce today.” With our sophisticated Conversational Commerce solution, brands like Zoop India can utilise WhatsApp as a platform to drive orders and create a wonderful customer experience. Tens of millions of people travel by train every day, and Haptik, in collaboration with Zoop, is assisting travellers in ordering their favourite meals and having them delivered directly to their seats.”
