Zomato Rewards Delivery Partners with Exciting Prizes for Exceptional Rainy Season Service


Zomato, India’s leading food ordering and delivery platform, has launched a special program to recognize and appreciate the exceptional efforts of its delivery partners who go above and beyond to provide outstanding service even during the challenging rainy season. As a gesture of gratitude, Zomato is rewarding these dedicated delivery partners with a range of exciting prizes, including refrigerators, television sets, washing machines, mobile phones, and more.

Delivery partners play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their meals with utmost care, even in adverse weather conditions. Their unwavering commitment and dedication have significantly contributed to the overall customer experience in the food ordering and delivery domain.

To acknowledge these invaluable contributions, Zomato has introduced a unique feature called “Spin the Wheel” within the gig industry. This feature is exclusively available to delivery partners who complete a certain number of orders during the rainy season. By spinning the wheel on their app, delivery partners have the opportunity to win various rewards, recognizing their exceptional commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences, especially during rainy days.

Since the launch of this feature last week, Zomato has already awarded over 30,000 rewards to deserving delivery partners. These rewards encompass a wide range of prizes, including television sets, refrigerators, washing machines, mobile phones, tablets, dining vouchers, and shopping coupons. Notably, more than 500 delivery partners have received major rewards, such as television sets, washing machines, and refrigerators.

The Spin the Wheel feature is currently available to Zomato’s delivery partners in 23 cities across India, including Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and others. Eligible delivery partners who have completed the qualifying number of orders during rainy days can access the feature on their app to receive their well-deserved rewards.

Rinshul Chandra, Chief Operations Officer at Zomato, expressed his appreciation for the dedicated efforts of their delivery partners, stating, “Our delivery partners are the backbone of Zomato, and we are immensely grateful for their tireless efforts in delivering happiness to our customers’ doorsteps – even when the weather makes it difficult to do so. One of the delivery partners, Vishal Ankush Maske, shared his excitement about receiving a reward through the Spin the Wheel feature. He expressed, “We are all very excited about this new feature. There is no better feeling than being seen and appreciated for our work. I am so grateful to Zomato for this reward. Our deliveries make customers happy, and this fridge made my family happy.”

Zomato remains committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all its delivery partners. The company continuously invests in training and support initiatives to empower its delivery partners. Earlier this year, Zomato launched rest points for all gig workers, offering essential amenities such as clean drinking water, phone-charging stations, washrooms, high-speed internet access, a 24×7 helpdesk, and first-aid support. These initiatives aim to promote the physical and mental well-being of the delivery partners.
