Zomato relaunches Zomato Gold Loyalty Program

Zomato has relaunched its Zomato Gold loyalty programme, which will provide users with discounts for dining in and food delivery.
The service is available for Rs 149 for three months. This is a reduction from the 999 quarterly membership.
Users who subscribe to Zomato Gold will receive unlimited free deliveries to restaurants within a 10-kilometer radius.
“The new Zomato Gold is a brand-new membership, just with a familiar name. It has exciting new benefits such as free delivery, no delay guarantee, VIP access during rush hour and many more,” said Zomato.
Zomato users who had a pro or pro plus membership with an Edition card will have their membership extended until February 23, 2023. Following that, users will receive a three-month Zomato Gold membership.
Zomato Pro, the food aggregator platform, was discontinued in August of last year.
During earnings calls, Zomato’s chief financial officer Akshant Goyal stated that the company was well aware of what the “competition” was doing in loyalty programmes.
