Additionally, farmers will benefit from expert agronomic support during the growing process, clear demand forecasting, grading support that aligns with harvest schedules, guaranteed buyback, and on-site assistance. ” Zepto

“Vinay Dhanani, the COO of Zepto, announced that over half of the company’s orders consist of fresh produce, particularly fruits and vegetables. He attributes this success to the strong relationship built with farmers, allowing Zepto to optimize their yields and meet the increasing demand.”

Zepto obtains its agricultural products directly from over a thousand farmers situated in various Indian states such as Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.

The company aims to expand its farmer network to six new states in India, including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, through its Zepto Bloom Program. Srinibas Swain, the Senior Vice-President and Business Head for Fresh Category, stated that the program and accompanying app aim to establish best-in-industry supply chain practices and ensure complete transparency.
