Zepto Achieves Rs 1,000 Crore Annualized Advertising Revenue Milestone: CEO Aadit Palicha

Quick commerce unicorn Zepto has surpassed Rs 1,000 crore in annualized advertising revenue, marking a significant achievement for the platform. This translates to Rs 83 crore per month, as shared by CEO and Co-Founder Aadit Palicha in a LinkedIn post.

“It’s been less than 3 years since we launched our Ads Business, and the team we put together has been executing like a machine. I’m honestly grateful to be working and learning from some of the smartest operators in Internet India today,” said Aadit Palicha.

This milestone coincides with Zepto’s recent launch of Jarvis, an in-house advertising service designed for brands and sellers on the platform. The solution aims to enhance brand visibility and boost platform sales by enabling targeted and optimized campaigns. Jarvis has already delivered over 15 billion ad impressions and generated over 4% of advertising income as a percentage of sales.

The Jarvis platform provides real-time analytics, allowing brands to monitor spending and performance with sub-second query times, creating a competitive edge in the fast-growing quick commerce sector. The advertising solution is part of Zepto’s broader strategy to diversify revenue streams through advertising, loyalty programs, and private labels amidst intensifying competition.

Last week, Zepto concluded its third funding round in six months, securing $350 million. The round was led exclusively by Motilal Oswal’s Private Wealth division, with participation from Indian high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and family offices. This brings Zepto’s total funding for the year to an impressive $1.35 billion.

On the competitive front, quick commerce peer Blinkit’s parent company Zomato announced earlier today the closure of a $1 billion financing round through qualified institutional placements, primarily from domestic mutual funds.
