Yulu and Zepto Forge Eco-Friendly Partnership for Hyperlocal Deliveries

India’s prominent electric two-wheeler mobility firm, Yulu, has revealed a strategic partnership with Zepto, an emerging e-grocery service provider. In a collaborative statement, the two companies detailed their joint efforts to enhance Yulu’s footprint in the rapidly expanding hyperlocal delivery sector in key cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. Concurrently, this collaboration will enable Zepto to transition its delivery fleet to all-electric vehicles, aligning with the goal of maximizing environmentally friendly deliveries.
The initiative also seeks to establish sustainable livelihoods, especially for individuals lacking driving licenses or personal vehicles. This innovative partnership outlines plans for mutual promotion of each other’s products and services across both offline and online channels.

The joint statement further highlighted that by leveraging Yulu’s cost-effective shared mobility services, these riders will have the opportunity to increase their earnings and savings. This partnership is also anticipated to encourage more women to pursue delivery roles as a profession.
