Yellow, a Bengaluru-based digital will-making software company, raises unspecified sum in pre-seed round

The digital will-making app Yellow, which is based in Bengaluru, has revealed that it has raised an undisclosed sum in a pre-Seed round from institutional and angel investors. Among those who took part in the round were Apramaeya Radhakrishna of Koo, Mukund Rao of Muvin, TT Jagannathan of TTK Prestige, Pranav Pai of 3One4 Capital, and IIFL Wealth.

Niranjan Vemulkar, Nikhil Varghese, and Niranjan Salimath founded the Yellow app in September 2021 to offer a quick, safe, and affordable alternative for estate planning. According to the firm, there are approximately Rs 1.5 lakh crores in unclaimed accounts across the nation as a result of poor financial planning, which includes the absence of a will, relatives not knowing about the decedent’s assets, and non-updating of nominees.
