Wify, a full-stack technology platform, has received $2 million in pre-Series A investment from Blume Founders Fund & Unitus Ventures. Singularity Ventures & HePo NL were among the other investors in this round. The funds will be used to further develop the company’s technology and to invest in the capabilities of blue-collar workers.
Vikram Sharma and Deepanshu Goel created Mumbai-based Wify in 2019. It is a full-stack digital platform for B2B and B2C post-purchase home furnishing services. “India has yet to mature as a DIY market.” Wify is designed to give companies a full-stack tech-enabled platform for meeting customer expectations across the product life cycle. “We are thrilled to be working with Unitus Ventures & Blume Founders Fund as we prepare for the next stage of our journey,” stated Vikram Sharma, CEO & co-founder of Wify.

Over the next three years, the firm plans to improve its present client base and categories, expanding into new categories like home automation, commercial space, and industries, and increasing its geographic reach across the country. “Wify’s superpower is that it invests in a fantastic blue-collar workforce, training & skilling them to be future-ready. We agree with Wify’s objective of expanding into new areas and influencing the lives of a growing segment of India’s 400 million blue-collar workers,” said Karthik Reddy, partner at Blume Ventures.
The organization currently operates in 60 cities and generates a monthly income of roughly Rs 2 million. By July 2022, the firm claims to have more than tripled its income, served over 200,000 households, and skilled and educated over 3,000 personnel.
“There is a $20 billion need for enterprises who provide post-purchase services to brands and customers.” Wify can capture a substantial piece of a rising industry with great management and a mix of full-stack execution and SaaS,” stated Surya Mantha, managing partner at Unitus Ventures. Wify received $2 million in early investment from Unitus Ventures in July 2021.
