Vidysea, a Noida-based AI-powered study abroad platform, has raised $1 million in its seed funding round led by Zee Learn Limited (ZLL) and Aarvi Family LLP, with additional contributions from the company’s founders and other shareholders. The funding will enhance its technology, expand its team, and improve service offerings to students aspiring to study abroad.
Founded in September 2024 by Karunn Kandoi, Vidysea aims to simplify and enhance the decision-making process for students exploring global education opportunities. The platform helps students discover and connect with institutions worldwide, from K-12 schools to colleges and graduate programs.
Beyond just connecting students with institutions, Vidysea offers comprehensive support throughout the admission process, including profile building, application guidance, essay reviews, and recommendation letter assistance. The platform leverages artificial intelligence to provide personalised recommendations, ensuring students make informed academic and career choices.
Zee Learn Limited’s CEO, Manish Rastogi, emphasised the growing need for personalised career guidance and praised Vidysea’s technology-driven approach to helping students find the right educational opportunities.
“Vidysea’s platform provides unbiased, AI-powered recommendations catering to students’ needs. We believe this investment will enable them to reach and guide more students globally,” said Rastogi.
With this funding, Vidysea plans to strengthen its product offerings, hire top talent, and expand its reach to a wider student base. The platform is also eyeing global expansion, aiming to extend its services to international students in key markets.
“This funding marks a pivotal moment for Vidysea. Our goal is to help students navigate program selection and secure admissions to their preferred institutions with confidence,” said Karunn Kandoi, CEO & Founder of Vidysea.
