US based maker of consumer electronics; Ossify entered Indian market

With the help of a local consumer electronics company named Ossify, rigidaire, a US-based maker of consumer electronics, has entered the Indian market. With its assortment of home appliances in categories including air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, freezers, etc., Frigidaire, a member of the Electrolux group, has entered the Indian market. Almost a century old and known for its cutting-edge technology and innovation, Frigidaire maintains its leadership position in the North American market.
“With its latest collaboration with Ossify Industries, Frigidaire is now poised to expand its footprint in the burgeoning Indian market,” a statement said.
Sandeep Chaudhary, the founder of Ossify Group, commented on the news, saying it is an honour to be affiliated with a prestigious brand like Frigidaire that has established a strong market reputation through decades of commitment to producing the greatest consumer electronics products available.
By 2025, the domestic demand for consumer electronics and appliances in India is expected to expand to approximately Rs 1.48 lakh crore, driven by government programmes like PLI. According to the trade group Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association, India has emerged as one of the ACE markets with the fastest growth rates in the globe and is also starting to compete with China and other South East Asian nations for manufacturing jobs (CEAMA).
