Twitter suspends 54K accounts in India In September


Only 157 complaints were made to Twitter, a microblogging platform, in India between August 26 and September 25, 2022. In India this year, the 30-day period had the fewest complaints, according to the Transparency Report.

Social media sites in India with more than 5 million users are required to produce monthly compliance reports in accordance with Rule 4(1)(d) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.Google and Meta both release monthly compliance reports in addition to Twitter.
