The Designer’s Class bags $1 million in its Series A round of funding from angel investors


The Designer’s Class raised  $1 million for the Series A fundraising round from a group of angel investors led by Shivtej Investment Advisory Ltd, represented by Pratik Bafna and Anupam Lunavat. The Designer’s Class is an online learning platform with a focus on several design verticals. The money will be used to help the platform’s e-learning design business build its infrastructure for immersive learning, expand its selection of online courses, add more languages to the system, and carry out its aim of completely decentralising design education.

Anupam Lunavat, the investor stated, “The Designer’s Class helps develop skilled labour across all design verticals by democratising design education. India will be able to create items with top-notch specifications and compete internationally with quality labour.”

The Designer’s Class co-founder and CEO Samarth Bajaj said, “In order to improve India’s design ecosystem through robust design pedagogy, we have been considering obtaining money from key investors. We are dedicated to providing top-notch design education for aspiring design enthusiasts, transforming them into quality-conscious, reasonably priced, and future-ready individuals. By 2025, we hope to have 100,000 applicants enrolled in more than 200 design-related courses in more than 50 design-based verticals.”

The portal provides interesting workbooks, demonstrations, and quizzes along with courses that are created using high-quality, worldwide content that has been selected by academic experts to enable self-paced learning. Additionally, all of its courses are offered in 7 different languages as part of its mission to make education accessible to all people, regardless of demography.
