Tech Mahindra hires Infosys President Mohit Joshi after resignation

After being associated with Infosys since 2000, Mohit Joshi has resigned from his position as President to become the Managing Director and CEO at Tech Mahindra, as announced by both companies to the Stock Exchange.

According to a statement released to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Infosys has stated that Mohit Joshi will commence his leave starting from March 11th and his final day with the company will be on June 9th, 2023.

“Infosys, a well-known organisation that offers advanced digital solutions and consulting services, has announced the departure of its President, Mohit Joshi. As of March 11th, 2023, he will be on leave, and his tenure with the company will end on June 9th, 2023. The Board of Directors has expressed their gratitude for Mohit Joshi’s valuable services and contributions to the company”, the announcement has been made through an official release.

 

During his tenure as President at Infosys, Mohit Joshi was responsible for overseeing the Financial Services and Healthcare/Life Sciences segments. He also served as the Chairman of Edgeverve Systems Ltd and headed the company’s software business, which included the renowned Global banking platform, Finacle.

In 2014, Mohit Joshi was invited to participate in the Global Young Leader program at the World Economic Forum. Presently, Mohit Joshi holds the position of Vice Chair at the Confederation of British Industry’s Economic Growth Board and is affiliated with the Young Presidents Organization as a member.

Mr. Joshi holds an MBA degree from Delhi University and has previously served at ANZ Grindlays and ABN AMRO in their Corporate and Investment bank. Additionally, he has a Bachelor’s degree in History from Delhi’s St. Stephen’s College.
