Tata group is going to build EPC solutions as a part of their project of green hydrogen focus.


Tata group is planning to mark their space in the green hydrogen market with the new project of building EPC solutions. The project is planned on the basis of the need for non-fossil-fuel sources in the country.

They are planning to develop this with around Rs 20,000 crore on green energy projects including green hydrogen over the coming three to four years. This will be in partnership with the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) to set up electrolysers, a key component, and has a separate JV with IOC and ReNew Power for the green fuel.

According to the managing director Vinayak Pai the company is trying to build and provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions for green hydrogen plants for the country. With the beginning of this project Tata is also entering the group of companies that are already in this green hydrogen revolution.

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), GAIL, NTPC, Indian Oil Corporation, Larsen and Toubro (L&T) etc are other groups that are already following the projects for green hydrogen solutions. Tata is one of India’s largest renewable energy players, by positioning the Tata Power at the top to deliver to the changing landscape of India’s renewable energy focus. The major aim of Tata group is to dedicate the country with energy from green natural resources from the force of the wind to the power of the sun.
