Recurring revenue-based finance company Recur Club announced that Swarandeep Singh Kambo has been hired as the Senior Director, Growth, expanding their leadership team. Swarnadeep’s new position entails boosting the organization’s growth process. Additionally, he will be developing and implementing a long-term partnership framework and growth plan, forming strategic alliances with venture capitalists, startup communities, accelerators, and partners across channels. Swarandeep’s appointment is the most recent turning point in Recur Club’s expanding expansion path, which has seen 200 percent month-over-month growth since January 2022 despite an unsteady economy.
Eklavya Gupta, Founder, of Recur Club, said, “Swarandeep’s strategic experience of being a VC, investment banker, and running an angel syndicate precedes him, and I am certain that his addition to the team will be instrumental as he complements the DNA and promising performance-oriented culture of our organization. I believe that his experience of working with multi-functional teams will further drive our vision and solidify Recur Club’s core value proposition in our domestic market.”

Swarnadeep is a venture capitalist with more than 11 years of experience working in investments and portfolio management. He has worked with more than 1,000 firms. Prior to this, Mr. Kambo worked for companies like Lykke Capital as the managing partner, global community manager, and fund associate for the international non-profit organization UNLEASH. He was also the founder and managing partner of Lykke Capital and the investment manager for the India Opportunities Fund and Aurora Fund-of-VC Funds of the Madrid-based Axon Partners Group.
Additionally, he has supported the venture team as a Venture Capital Scout for Tokyo-listed Credit Saison’s corporate VC firm, Saison Capital. Swarandeep has extensive expertise as an angel investor in a variety of industries, including SaaS, direct-to-consumer, and business-to-business tech marketplaces.
Eager about his new position, Swarna Singh remarked, “It brings me great honor and pleasure to be a part of Recur Club on its transformative journey towards revolutionizing recurring revenue-based financing and funding for startups as a whole. The non-dilutive model of funding offered by the organization is a game changer for the industry, especially for emerging startups in a competitive market like India. Delving into my time and experience as an angel investor and the insights I obtained over the years, I aim to help the company expand its operational reach and presence through targeted strategic partnerships and new growth initiatives.”
By rapidly turning recurring monthly or yearly subscriptions or customer payments into upfront money, Recur Club enables businesses to obtain upfront financing within hours. On the other side, institutional investors use their digital platforms to invest in the recurring revenue streams of developing businesses. One of the largest early fundraising rounds in India to date, sponsored by InfoEdge Ventures and Village Global, raised $30 million in April of this year. The following month, Recur Club partnered with Titan Capital to give up to Rs 100 crore in financing to its portfolio firms based on recurring revenue, continuing its focus on market expansion and growth as well as improving its product and service offerings.
