Study Finds Electronics, Lifestyle, Beauty Top Festive Sales Categories


During the recent festive shopping period, a study by Assidus Global Inc, an accelerator for D2C platforms, highlighted electronics, lifestyle, and beauty products as the leading categories in demand. Among electronics, mobile phones, adaptors, and ear pods emerged as the most popular items, while face and body creams dominated the beauty segment.

The beauty category particularly soared, experiencing a notable 51.51% growth compared to the previous year. Interestingly, it stood out as the top category among young shoppers, with 18-24-year-olds contributing significantly to its sales, making up 47% of its sales volume.

Healthcare and nutrition segments also witnessed a remarkable 86% increase in new shoppers this year compared to the figures from 2022, where it was at 26%.
