Skincare brand Inde Wild enters the Indian market space in partnership with Nykaa


South Asian social media personality and businesswoman Diipa Büller-Khosla’s skincare line, Inde Wild, will debut in India exclusively on an e-tailer that focuses on beauty and lifestyle.

The debut coincides with a number of international beauty companies entering the domestic market, including The Odd, a Canadian company, in cooperation with Nykaa.

Khosla stated, “The company may have six full-time employees in India and that there are no immediate plans to expand outside Nykaa. Sooner or later we’re open to expanding retail relationships in addition to opening our own shops. We generated roughly $500,000 in gross sales in the first quarter. Since then, it has stabilised. We anticipate that India will be one of our biggest markets.”

She also said that “India is probably one of the areas that the brand has a lot of faith in since there is a lot of potential in the beauty consumer, who has grown significantly over the past several years as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
