Radisson Hotel Group Appoints Nikhil Sharma as Managing Director and ASVP for South Asia

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Nikhil Sharma as the Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President (ASVP) for South Asia, effective April 1, 2024.
In his new capacity, Sharma will spearhead Radisson Hotel Group’s operations across the vibrant South Asian region, which currently encompasses over 165 hotels in various stages of operation and development. Leveraging his extensive experience, Sharma is poised to play a pivotal role in bolstering the Group’s leadership position in the Indian market, fostering enduring partnerships, driving revenue augmentation, and ensuring operational excellence. Additionally, Sharma will champion the Group’s aspiration to emerge as the preferred employer for dynamic talent within the hospitality ecosystem.
Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group, Sharma served in a senior leadership role at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR) as Market Managing Director Eurasia, where he oversaw pivotal aspects including Business Development, Operations, New Openings, and Sales & Marketing. His tenure at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts was preceded by a significant stint as Chief Operating Officer at Ginger Hotels, a distinguished brand under the IHCL conglomerate. Sharma’s illustrious career also includes being a founding member of the Lemon Tree Hotel Company, where he played a pivotal role in the growth of India’s upscale hotel segment.
