Proptech startup Fretbox bags Rs 4 million in funding


Fretbox, a SaaS-based proptech firm, has raised Rs 4 million in capital from industry veterans including Persistent System board members, an ex-Tata Motors CIO, and an Invasystems VP. The firm makes daily life easier for housing societies, commercial complexes, and educational campuses by providing the most advanced app for security, community, and facility management. 

The funds will be used to extend the startup’s activities in Tier II and Tier III cities. The firm is a multi-purpose application with numerous functions such as a notice board, visitor log, facility booking, digital assistant, surveyor, account and security desk, and much more. The safety of residents, tenants, and employees can also be improved by using an app.

With this funding, the business has appointed industry veterans such as Kedar Paranjpye and Siddharth Kaul to its board of directors. Universities, educational institutions, private hostels, government colleges, giant housing complexes, and co-living chains are among its clients.

Fretbox, situated in Pune, was founded in 2020 by Ashish Gupta, Pranjul Guptaa and Bishnu Prasad as a proptech SaaS for hostels, PGs, and housing communities.
