Bharati Balakrishnan, country head and director of Shopify India, stated, “Digital payments are one of the primary forces driving the expansion of India’s e-commerce business. With Indians purchasing across a plethora of platforms, channels, applications, and devices, both offline and online, it is critical for retailers to engage their customers and facilitate the shopping and checkout experience by offering popular payment alternatives.”
According to the firm, merchant partners will be able to accept payments via a variety of payment methods such as Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI, Paytm Postpaid (Buy Now, Pay Later), net banking, debit or credit cards, and others. They will also receive priority customer service. Paytm Payment Gateway is one of India’s most popular payment options for businesses of all sizes.
