Revolt Motors, the EV startup based in Gurugram, has announced the appointment of Pankaj Sharma as its new Chief Business Officer.
Prior to this role, Sharma had joined Vikram Solar in June 2022 as the Chief Growth Officer after resigning from Ola Electric, where he served as the India Head for Sales and Distribution from June 2021 to April 2022. At Ola Electric, Sharma was responsible for overseeing sales, service, distribution, customer experience, and go-to-market strategies.
In his previous roles, Pankaj Sharma held the position of national business head and was a management team member at Royal Enfield.
He also had a lengthy tenure at Maruti Suzuki India from 2004 to 2012, and worked as the head of all sales (India) at Volkswagen India for five years.

Revolt Motors, which was founded in 2017 by Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma, provides electric motorcycles, along with a comprehensive range of genuine parts and accessories available through its authorised dealerships in India.
The company’s manufacturing facility is located in Manesar, Haryana, which is a major hub for automobile manufacturing. Over the past year, Revolt Motors has broadened its presence across India by opening 29 dealership stores.
Revolt Motors‘ initial offering is the Revolt RV400, which operates on a 3.24 kWh battery and can be controlled using three distinct modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport. It takes approximately three hours to charge the battery from zero to 75% capacity, and a complete charge requires 4.5 hours.
In October 2022, RattanIndia Enterprises Limited announced its intention to acquire Revolt Motors’ entire shareholding, having already purchased a 33.84% stake with an option to acquire more.
