OYO Launches New Brand ‘Palette’ to Expand into Premium Resorts and Hotels

OYO, the hospitality technology platform, has made a significant move into the premium resorts and hotels category by introducing its new brand – Palette. The company aims to expand this brand rapidly and plans to have a total of 50 properties under the Palette brand by the second quarter of FY24.

As a pilot, OYO has already initiated 10 Palette resorts in various locations, including Jaipur, Hyderabad, Digha, Mumbai, Chennai, Manesar, and Bangalore. Over the coming months, it intends to add 40 more Palette resorts to its portfolio, extending its reach to cities like Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, Amritsar, Shimla, Goa, Udaipur, Pune, Mussoorie, Srinagar, and Kochi.

Anuj Tejpal, OYO’s Chief Merchant Officer, highlighted the reasons behind this expansion, stating, “Today, travelers seek more than just a place to stay; they crave unique and memorable experiences. This shift in preferences, driven by rising disposable incomes, has led us to diversify our portfolio and introduce the Palette brand.”

The response to the existing 10 properties has been overwhelmingly positive, prompting OYO to expand to new destinations and offer a more comprehensive portfolio to its guests. OYO’s existing brand portfolio includes Townhouse Oak, OYO Townhouse, Collection O, and Capital O. The company aims to grow its premium portfolio by adding 1,800 new properties by the end of 2023.
