Ottonomy raises $3.3 million in a seed funding led by pi Ventures
NY-based autonomous robotics delivery startup, Ottonomy.IO has announced that it has raised $3.3 million in seed financing round led by pi Ventures which invests in deep-tech startups. Till date, the total funding of Ottonomy accounts for $4.9 million.
Ottonomy.IO will utilize the funds to scale its production and build capacity to meet the company’s current customer pipeline and expand its team size, strengthen its presence in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Earlier this year, Ottonomy’s robots “Ottobots” became the world’s first autonomous robots to deliver food, beverage and travel retail items at airports. Ottobot 2.0 evolved from early pilots to include fully customizable modular cabins, increase its access for customers and directional mobility, including crab mode as well.
