OneVerse Expands Gaming Portfolio with Acquisition of Calling Station, BatBall11

OneVerse, a metaverse and gaming technology platform, has recently acquired two companies, Calling Station and BatBall11, to strengthen its foothold in the gaming market. According to the company, “The acquisitions will help OneVerse to solidify its position in the gaming market.” Calling Station specializes in developing online games with a focus on providing a superior user experience while ensuring safety and security. On the other hand, BatBall11 operates as a rewards-based fantasy sports platform catering to multiple sports, allowing users to create virtual teams to compete for prizes.
Based in Bengaluru, OneVerse has announced plans to acquire more companies within the next three months as part of a larger strategy outlined earlier. The company recently acquired Spartan Poker in February and unveiled a $120 million fund earmarked for acquiring a total of eight companies. OneVerse, founded by Paul Michael, aims to create an immersive experience for gamers within the metaverse. Michael stated, “Our goal is to continue redefining industry standards and shaping the future of gaming.”
Additionally, OneVerse plans to invest an additional Rs 250 Crore across its portfolio of investments.
