In a significant move to bolster its presence in India’s rapidly growing gaming and content ecosystem, NODWIN Gaming has acquired Trinity Gaming for INR 24 crore. The acquisition is set to enhance NODWIN’s position in the gaming industry by integrating Trinity’s expertise in creator services and multi-channel network operations.
As part of the deal, NODWIN Gaming has acquired 100% of Trinity’s share capital. The acquisition involves a cash payment of INR 4.8 crore along with a stock swap worth INR 19.2 crore. Founders Abhishek Aggarwal and Shivam Rao will continue to lead Trinity Gaming under NODWIN Gaming while becoming shareholders in the parent company.
Established in 2019, Trinity Gaming has built a strong reputation by managing over 1,000 creators across major platforms such as YouTube and Facebook. The company works with well-known brands like Samsung, Realme, and Krafton, focusing on content creation, digital marketing, and event management. By acquiring Trinity Gaming, NODWIN Gaming gains access to a network of creators and brands, allowing it to expand its offerings and strengthen partnerships within India’s gaming ecosystem.
“This acquisition is a momentous step in our journey,” said Akshat Rathee, Co-founder of NODWIN Gaming. “Trinity’s deep understanding of India’s gaming creator ecosystem, combined with their prowess in brand partnerships and content creation, will significantly bolster our ability to deliver holistic solutions. Together, we aim to build a thriving gaming ecosystem in India.”
Abhishek Aggarwal, Co-founder of Trinity Gaming, also expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “Joining forces with NODWIN Gaming accelerates our vision of creating unmatched opportunities for Indian content creators while enabling brands to connect deeply with engaged audiences.”
Following the acquisition, NODWIN Gaming plans to integrate Trinity’s operations with its Unpaused Talent business, which will be led by Trinity’s founders. The company also has ambitious plans to extend Trinity’s reach into emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
This move is in line with NODWIN Gaming’s broader strategy of expansion, which has seen recent investments in Comic Con India, Freaks 4U Gaming, and Turkish esports company Ninja Global. With the acquisition of Trinity Gaming, NODWIN continues to solidify its leadership position in the gaming and esports sectors, not just in India but globally.
Valued at USD 349 million, NODWIN Gaming was founded in 2014 by Akshat Rathee and Gautam Virk. The company is a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies and is backed by prominent investors, including KRAFTON Inc, Sony Group Corporation, and JetSynthesys. With this acquisition, NODWIN Gaming further cements its position as a dominant player in the global gaming industry.
