The first Startup Clinic was successfully organized at the GIMS Medical Incubation Centre, marking a significant milestone in healthcare innovation. Out of numerous applications, five startups and individuals were selected to participate, including the renowned NLR Foundation, globally recognized for its work on leprosy.

NLR Foundation’s CEO, Dr. Ashok, discussed an ambitious proposal to invite startups focused on the prevention of leprosy, early detection, and management of disability. This initiative aligns with NLR Foundation’s global mission to eradicate leprosy and improve patient outcomes.

The event featured one-on-one mentoring sessions for participating startups, providing them with clinical guidance and strategic support. This pioneering clinic, the first of its kind for healthcare startups, offers specialized mentoring to startups and organizations working in the healthcare sector.

Startup Story also participated as a partner, underscoring the event’s significance in the startup ecosystem. Selected startups are invited for further discussions, focusing on various clinical needs and innovations.

GIMS, the first public hospital-based Medical Incubation Centre in Greater Noida, hosted the event under the Centre for Medical Innovation. The clinic saw active participation from mentors across various departments. Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Sourav Srivastava and Dean Dr. Rambha Pathak also engaged with the startups, emphasizing the importance of such collaborative initiatives.

This inaugural episode of the Startup Clinic sets a precedent for future events, aiming to foster innovation and collaboration in healthcare.
