Nasscom Foundation Appoints Jyoti Sharma as New CEO

Nasscom Foundation has announced the appointment of Jyoti Sharma as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Sharma takes over from Nidhi Bhasin, bringing more than 20 years of experience in driving social impact and spearheading program development, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement.
The announcement was made through an official company statement, highlighting Sharma’s expertise and commitment to social innovation.
Rostow Ravanan, Chairman of Nasscom Foundation, expressed his confidence in Sharma’s leadership, stating, “Her visionary leadership and deep expertise will be instrumental in scaling our impact through our flagship programmes, broadening our reach, and driving meaningful change through the innovative use of technology.”
Established in 2001, Nasscom Foundation is a not-for-profit organization representing India’s technology industry. It focuses on leveraging technology to create a positive social impact through various initiatives.
Sharma, an alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, has an impressive track record with leadership roles in reputed organizations such as the Organic Cotton Accelerator, the European Commission, World Resources Institute, Magic Bus India Foundation, Action Aid, and Save the Children.
Speaking about her new role, Sharma said, “My focus is to ensure that the synergy of technology and social innovation paves the way for India to achieve its vision of digital equity and inclusive growth.”
She further added that she is committed to strengthening Nasscom Foundation’s TechForGood legacy. “I will work towards broadening its reach and deepening its impact,” she remarked.
