Myntra Jumps on Quick Commerce Bandwagon with M-Now

Myntra, a leading apparel marketplace owned by Flipkart, has joined the quick commerce trend with its newly piloted service, ‘M-Now.’ The service, currently operational in select pincodes of Bengaluru, promises to deliver products within an impressive timeframe of 30 minutes to 2 hours.

The initiative is part of Myntra’s continuous effort to enhance its customer experience. A spokesperson for Myntra commented, “At Myntra, we are always looking for ways to sharpen our customer proposition. We launched M-Express earlier, towards enhancing the customer experience with regard to speed and have been experimenting with a pilot for faster delivery in a select few pincodes. We will look at expanding it further based on the insights gained, before launching it formally.”

The development was first reported by Inc42. The quick commerce space, which was initially dominated by grocery and daily essential platforms, is now witnessing an influx of ecommerce marketplaces and vertical marketplaces aiming to redefine delivery timelines. These platforms are striving to offer delivery services faster than the conventional same-day and next-day options.

Myntra’s existing Express feature, which ensures 24-48 hours delivery for select categories, has already gained popularity. The new M-Now service builds on this promise and currently features brands such as Mochi, Wrangler, Metro, Being Human, and Lavie.

The growing trend of consumers bundling apparel, accessories, and personal care purchases with grocery orders has prompted marketplaces like Myntra to innovate and retain their customer base. Myntra is not alone in this race. Nykaa, another major player in the ecommerce space, has introduced “Nykaa Now” and is planning to establish a dark store network to facilitate faster deliveries.
