Metaforms Secures $9 Mn in Series A Led by Peak XV to Redefine AI-Powered Market Research

Bengaluru-based AI-driven market research startup Metaforms has raised $9 million (approximately INR 78.8 crore) in its Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners. The round also saw participation from Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund, reaffirming growing investor confidence in enterprise tech and AI-led automation solutions.

Founded in 2023 by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S, Metaforms leverages agentic AI to automate core processes in the market research industry. From survey programming and data processing to vendor coordination, its AI agents streamline repetitive workflows, enabling research agencies to manage client demands faster and more efficiently.

The newly raised capital will be primarily used to expand Metaforms’ engineering and AI research team in Bengaluru, along with strengthening its product portfolio to serve global clients more effectively.

We believe agentic AI will transform how research is conducted from weeks-long timelines to real-time intelligence delivery.”

The funding comes amid a broader trend of increasing investor appetite for enterprise-focused AI startups.
