LIC MD position filled by Tablesh Pandey

On Tuesday, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) announced the promotion of Tablesh Pandey, who was previously an executive director of the company, to the position of managing director.
As per a regulatory filing, he will assume the position of managing director from April 1, 2023.
According to the announcement, B C Patnaik, the current managing director, will be replaced by Tablesh Pandey.
At present, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has a total of four managing directors.
The company stated that as per a government notification, “Tablesh Pandey, who is currently serving as the Executive Director of LIC of India, has been selected to replace B C Patnaik as the Managing Director of LIC. His appointment will take effect from the date he assumes the position, which is set to be on or after April 1, 2023”.
