Lehlah Raises Rs 12.5 Crore to Enhance Influencer Earnings and Expand E-Commerce Reach

Lehlah, a pioneering content-commerce platform empowering influencers to monetize their product recommendations, has successfully secured Rs 12.5 crore (approximately $1.46 million) in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Gruhas, an investment firm co-founded by Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Zerodha, and Abhijeet Pai of the Puzzolana Group. This latest funding marks a crucial milestone for Lehlah as it seeks to scale operations in India’s rapidly growing influencer-led e-commerce industry.
With this infusion of capital, Lehlah plans to enhance its platform by introducing new features, expanding its team, and strengthening its foothold in the influencer-driven shopping ecosystem. As social commerce continues to gain momentum, the platform is well-positioned to meet the rising demand for genuine product recommendations from trusted digital creators.
Expanding Reach and Strengthening Offerings
Founded in December 2022 by Ashna Ruia, daughter of Prashant Ruia, director of Essar Group, Lehlah offers influencers an opportunity to monetize their content by recommending and promoting products. The platform has rapidly built partnerships with major e-commerce giants such as Myntra, Meesho, Flipkart, and Nykaa, alongside direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands like Libas and Foxtale. Initially focused on fashion and beauty, Lehlah has begun diversifying into additional segments, including home accessories and gadgets, broadening its offerings for influencers and consumers alike.
Lehlah currently operates with a team of 50 employees, with its marketing division based in Mumbai and its tech team stationed in Bengaluru. With the newly secured funds, the company aims to refine its user experience, scale marketing initiatives, and introduce advanced features designed to benefit both influencers and brands.
