LEAD Introduces AI-Powered Assessments for Schools

LEAD, India’s largest School Edtech company, has unveiled an AI-powered assessment program for its extensive network of over 9,000 schools. This initiative aims to provide classroom-level customization, empowering teachers and enhancing student learning outcomes. Leveraging insights gathered from 11 years of collaboration with schools across India, LEAD’s AI-driven assessments allow each teacher to tailor assessments to suit their specific classroom requirements.

The assessments, which are offline-enabled and auto-synchronized, utilize AI to generate customizable inputs such as question type, composition, and difficulty level. Teachers have the flexibility to review and edit these assessments as needed. The move aligns with LEAD’s vision of integrating cutting-edge technology with internationally benchmarked pedagogical methods to facilitate propulsive learning for 26 million school students in the next five years.

Customization at the class and school levels also addresses the challenge of exam paper leaks that schools often face. Sumeet Mehta, CEO, and Co-Founder of LEAD emphasized that AI represents the next frontier in School Edtech in India. LEAD’s AI-driven assessments aim to generate high-quality questions tailored to specific classroom learning requirements, saving teacher time and enabling them to focus on students.

Traditional assessment methods struggle to meet the diverse needs of today’s classrooms, particularly in schools with limited resources and time constraints, often found in small towns and villages. LEAD’s AI-powered assessments seamlessly integrate into its teacher app, benefiting over 50,000 teachers with four formative assessments and two summative assessments.

By enhancing the overall teaching-learning experience, the program prepares teachers for future digital challenges and accelerates the digitalization of schools in India. LEAD’s commitment extends beyond conventional approaches, focusing on nurturing well-rounded, technologically adept students equipped for 21st-century careers. The Integrated School Edtech system aligns with NEP 2020, offering AI-enabled solutions across all school segments. LEAD’s holistic approach includes a Teacher Capability System, Smart Class solutions, Integrated Curriculum, and Smart School systems, providing schools with improved academic performance and admissions. Students in LEAD-powered schools gain a deep conceptual understanding of subjects and develop critical 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
