KnowledgeHut upGrad brings international mobile technology training company Apis training to India

KnowledgeHut upGrad, a part of Edtech major upGrad, with headquarters in Bangalore, has teamed with Apis Training, a global leader in telecom mobile technology training, with headquarters in Sweden. By the end of the current fiscal year, KnowledgeHut upGrad and Apis hope to introduce India’s telecom engineers to the most recent 5G technologies. The training courses would be set up to meet the needs of Indian telecom companies and increase the employability of telecom engineers.

Subramanyam Reddy, CEO of KnowledgeHut upGrad stated, “We are thrilled to join with Apis Training, the pioneers in the field of mobile technology training to provide tailored solutions for the Indian market. India’s telecom industry is undergoing a structural transition. With the eagerly awaited launch of 5G services, there is an increasing demand for workers with cutting-edge capabilities. More businesses are seeking professional 5G-ready engineers and technicians who can fluidly create, install, and test 5G-related apps.

Further he said, “However, because the majority of the current workforce lacks the necessary skills, there is a huge demand-supply imbalance. Our relationship with Apis is another step in this direction. As a leading provider of technology skilling, we have always concentrated on developing up-skilling and re-skilling solutions that can meet the difficulties in the industry.”

Niklas Thorin, Director of Strategic Partnership and Customer Solutions, Apis Training said, “Apis Training is pleased to partner with Knowledge Hut, a partner that has a significant enterprise market footprint, and where Apis has it in the telecom sector, we believe that together as partners we are building a strong position to deliver a comprehensive training solution for our customers. Finding a partner that can complement Apis and its clients’ needs and has the market reach for IT-related training has become increasingly important as IT and telecom have merged.”
