Kindlife.in, a comprehensive platform for beauty, wellness, and health, has successfully secured $8 million in its Series A funding round. The round was spearheaded by JB-Dooeun TK Fund and MIXI Global Investments, with significant contributions from Kalaari Capital and a group of angel investors. This latest infusion of capital comes after the startup previously raised $2.5 million in seed funding from Kalaari Capital, Titan Capital, Java Capital, and other investors in November 2021.
Founded by Radhika Ghai, co-founder of ShopClues, along with Vidit Jain and Manasa Garemella, Kindlife.in leverages proprietary AI technology to assist Gen Z consumers in discovering personalized skincare and wellness routines. The platform also offers exclusive and priority access to a wide range of global beauty brands, with a particular emphasis on Korean and Japanese products.
“This capital will enable Kindlife to build a strong connection between Korea, Japan, and India,” the company stated in a press release. Kindlife’s community boasts thousands of beauty creators who provide recommendations and adopt a content-first approach to educate consumers on the latest K-beauty trends.
Kindlife.in is poised to capitalize on the burgeoning popularity of K-beauty, driven by the Hallyu wave, and aims to address the rapidly expanding K-beauty market in India. In the current calendar year, the company plans to introduce over 20 Korean and Japanese beauty brands to its platform, further enhancing its product offerings.
