Kafqa Academy acquires online dance learning platform Verb Studio

Kafqa Academy, a performing arts company, has purchased Verb Studio, an online dance academy. Verb Studio is one of India’s largest dance academies, with over 350,000 clients, over 150,000 social media subscribers, and 300+ unique material from prominent dance teachers.
Kafqa Academy, founded by Shariq Plasticwala in 2021 This acquisition provides Kafqa with greater distribution and content on social media, as well as a complementary age range of 15+ years. The Verb Studio team will join Kafqa, bringing the total number of individuals to 160.
Shariq Plasticwala, the CEO and Founder of Kafqa Academy said that the team has meticulously established and maintained a dancing community by offering relevant information. The company believed their skill in community development among young persons aged 16 to 25 matches our existing capabilities. He also stated that the firm is excited to work with Bharath and his team to build the world’s largest performing arts academy for students of all ages.
Verb Studio was started in 2018 by Bharath Kumar J and Ilangovan KS, two National Institute of Technology graduates (NIT) with the aim to make everyone able to learn to dance at VERB. Using the power of technology, it provides a one-of-a-kind experience akin to that of a dancing studio. To assist its customers to reach their dancing objectives, it connects them with well-respected and skilled teachers. Its goal is to become the major centre for anything dance-related. It focuses on making dance learning enjoyable and simple for everyone.
